The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has announced that the revised electricity tariffs for the second half of 2025 will be released today (June 11).
According to a statement from the PUCSL’s Communications Division, the review process of the Ceylon Electricity Board’s (CEB) tariff revision proposal has been completed, following a public consultation process.
Previous reports indicated that the CEB had proposed an 18.3% increase in electricity tariffs for the second half of the year.
